So, is it a movie? A documentary? A soft-film(movie) sponsored by some UN agencies? Or is the name of a new magazine in town? Well, it is a television episodic drama, and as the name suggests, it is about a football team ( well the title doesn’t suggest the ‘form of sports’ specifically, but because ‘football’ is the most loved game; the writer took the freedom to state it 'in actuality') and‘Hamro’ in the title suggests that it is very much a communal affair.  Since it is not ‘Mero Team’; so, it is very clear that the characters in the movie make a collective front-they come together, fight for a common dream, face hurdles, but since they have their hearts set on the goal, despite their personal differences they stain success. So, is it a Nepali version of  ‘Chakde India’, ‘ Remember the Titans’, ‘Miracle’, ‘same group and background having the same undertone- ‘Sportsmanship, solidarity, success’? By the looks of it, the movie proclaims to have all that.

Every romantic movie has the same old trend of Progression – boy meets girl, there is a clash; as the plot develops they fall for each other, there is friction, and the climax is almost always the same with most ending on a happy note. If all the chefs in the world are given the same ingredients, each with his/her individualistic touch, skill, passion for food, makes the cuisine different – a signature dish. Hamro team promises the same.

Hamro Group is a piece of a multi-nation TV rambling show produced by Search for the same background and jointly by two organizations.
